Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say three teen girls are facing charges after they reportedly escaped from a Pittsburgh-area facility for at-risk youth earlier this month and then were found driving a stolen work van along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Police say on Dec. 1, the teens reportedly escaped from New Outlook Academy and then stole a white, Chevrolet work van from the Brentwood area. Troopers say the van was later spotted traveling east bound on the Turnpike, in the area of Jefferson Township, Somerset County.

Reed was found not guilty of being an accomplice to first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, which are more serious charges, although third degree can carry more than 20 years in prison.

More than a dozen people injured after two SEPTA buses collide in Philadelphia

Police say a SEPTA bus rear-ended another bus just after noon on Friday, sending around 14 people to the hospital. Passengers were on both buses at the time of the accident. Denny's manager involved in meth and fentanyl enterprise, police say

JEFFERSON, Pa. (WJAC) — The manager of a Denny’s in Brookville was engaged in selling methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to agents with the Attorney General’s Office and Punxsutawney Police Department. Authorities say that Melissa Sue Lingenfelter, 42, sold the drugs to an undercover officer and confidential informant numerous times including at the restaurant where she worked. Lingenfelter would perform the drug transactions in her vehicle in the parking lot and even briefly sat with the undercover officer and confidential informant inside the Denny’s, authorities claim.
