Warrant issued for Central PA field hockey coach charged with sexual assault of a minor

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued for William F. Gaudette by Pennsylvania State Police after a report of child abuse to Dauphin County CYS.
He has been charged with statutory sexual assault of a person 11 or older, aggravated indecent assault for a person less than 16, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and witness and victim intimidation.
According to State Police the 77-year-old sexually assaulted a juvenile twice a week from June 2020 until July 2021.
The juvenile was thirteen to fourteen years old at the time of the incidents, according to court documents.
He also told the victim that she would be deported if she reported him, and that her mother would not be able to immigrate to the U.S..
State Police say Gaudette has served as a field hockey coach in Central PA and for the East Cost Field Hockey Club for several years.
Police also say Gaudette may have fled the area following the investigation into him, and that his whereabouts are currently unknown.
